Device Protection Plan
Device Protection Plan
Chandler USD has an optional Device Protection Plan (DPP) that students can purchase to help reduce potential costs of devices in need of repair. While this was originally intended to be a one-time fee, the district has determined that the DPP will need to be paid annually to ensure the sustainability of our 1:1 learning initiative. Accordingly, every student will see the optional DPP fee assigned to them for the 2023-2024 school year, and will need to pay the fee if they wish to participate in the plan. Thank you for your understanding. Click here for instructions to pay the fee in Infinite Campus
Intentional damage to the device is not covered under the plan.
Enrollment in the DPP does not begin until the fee payment has been received. There will be no refunds given on DPP purchase if a student leaves CUSD or upon graduation.
What is covered under the plan?
Accidental damage, such as cracked screens, broken keyboard, etc.
Battery replacement (if determined that the battery is malfunctioning)
Replacement of stolen device with official police report. A police report must be filed within 48 hours. A copy of the report must be sent to the school office
Hardware issues (video cable, broken ports, speakers)
You may enroll in the Protection Plan until August 20th.
A lost device and intentional damage to the device are NOT covered under the plan. Replacement cords are not covered under the plan.
